GradeClarity does not use the following:

• Advertising cookies (ads are not yet enabled)

• localStorage or sessionStorage for user data
• IndexedDB for data persistence
• Device fingerprinting

Your grade inputs and calculation results are processed entirely in browser memory and are not stored using any browser storage mechanism.

4. Analytics

We use one aggregate analytics service that does not rely on application cookies. It does not receive grades, targets, thresholds, letter grades, reachability states, or calculation results from the application.

5. Advertising (Phase 2, if enabled)

Phase 1 does not display advertisements. If advertising is introduced in the future (e.g., Google AdSense), we will:

• Update this Cookie Policy to disclose the advertising provider(s)
• Disclose any advertising cookies used for ad delivery, measurement, or personalization
• Implement Google Consent Mode v2 or an equivalent consent mechanism for EU/EEA/UK users before loading personalized advertising cookies
• Place ads away from the calculator and results areas

Any future ads will comply with the advertising network’s policies and applicable privacy laws.

When these signals are detected, we limit any non-essential data collection.
